Where Do They Go? (Part One) by B.D. Donaldson is a very cute illustrated children’s mystery story. I can tell that the author has obviously had experience with the inner workings of a child’s mind. The book is very intriguing and well-written. The illustrator did an amazing job with the pictures. The illustrations are colorful and stimulating. I like that the story has a surprising conclusion. For a small picture book, it is full of details and warm illustrations that will keep a young reader entertained to the last page. This book is perfect to read as a bedtime story for children aged 2-6.
